JoPo recorded her new album 'Another Trip Around the Sun' at the legendary House of Blues Studios & Ocean Way Studio in Nashville, Tennessee. The Album Release Party was held in JoPo's home town on September 15th, 2017, at the Sudbury Theatre Centre and was a great success as it was a sold out show! The Album was produced by Juno Award Winning Musician Crystal Shawanda and features session leader and lead guitarist, DeWayne Strobel (Trace Atkins, Percy Sledge, Little Richard), stand-up & electric bassist Dave Roe (Johnny Cash, Dwight Yoakam, John Cougar Mellencamp), drummer, Sandy Gennaro (Cyndi Lauper, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts), drummer and percussionist, Louis Flip Winfield (Shakira), harmonica player, Stephen Hanner, and House of Blues Studios' engineer extraordinaire, Owen Lewis.

She released her first album, “JoPo Acoustic- The RiZe,” in 2013 and inked a licensing deal with Hallmark for use of three of her songs and an appearance in their movie. She formed The RiZe to support the album and went on to record and release "Miners Town" with the band in 2015. The single was engineered & mixed by Billy Bruhmuller and mastered by Ron Skinner (Shania Twain, Sheepdogs, Elliott Brood) and it is being distributed and available for download on iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, CD Baby, Spotify, and 25 other downloadable sites around the world.
